Our guided tours and activities are modified to create an experience that is appropriate and accessible on all physical, mental and cognitive levels for a wide spectrum of students with learning differences.
A multisensory meet-up that includes getting to know different artistic techniques of creating and decorating jewellery, glassware, ceramics, metal, wood and stone. Each material has unique characteristics; the techniques of processing and decorating change from tool to tool and require different skills.
Through an experiential tour of the galleries, questions and puzzles we will experience the leisure culture and forms of recreation and entertainment in Muslim countries, as they are expressed in Islamic art.
The Magical Bustan
During the tour, we will meet the rich world of decorative art and arabesques, understand the importance of gardens and bustans to the body and soul, and get to know the science of herbal medicine in Muslim countries.
A large selection of arts and crafts workshops in the spirit of Islamic Art. The workshops are given with inspiration from the items displayed in the museum and in accordance to the topic of the visit and activities.
