שיח גלריה מרתק במיוחד, לכבודו יגיע אלינו היישר מצרפת האמן "Akkas" אשר מתעד את חיי התרבות באיראן של היום. 

שיח הגלריה מתקיים באנגלית ללא אפשרות לצלם במהלך השיח, על מנת לשמור על זהותו של האמן ובטחונו בשובו לאיראן.

The Museum for Islamic Art presents:

AKKAS – the uncontested photographer of Iran’s cultural underground!

In conjunction with the “Sign From Iran” exhibition, AKKAS, in his first time in Israel, will give a fascinating gallery talk on his work in Iran and will hold an even more fascinating artists’ workshop focusing on the weaving of a story from a simple picture – how to document a subject in the face of a challenging regime. A one-time event not to be missed!

Friday | 15.7 |10:00-14:00 | Artists’ Workshop: “The Power of Storytelling” |  advance payment and registration required

The workshop is intended for documentary photographers but open to photographers in other fields as well.
