Dreaming of designing jewelry? This activity will provide you with all the tools you need to make your dream come true – designing jewelry to your personal taste, and inspired by the museum’s exhibits. We will learn how to design jewelry with sticks, thread and cans. We will gain hands on experience of working with different jewelry making techniques.
About the moderator:
Shir Piness is a jeweler and artist. She is a graduate of the Department of Jewelry & Fashion of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. She has received numerous awards for her artistic and academic achievements. Her work has been shown in exhibitions, both in Israel and in the United States and Europe, including at the Jerusalem Biennale and at the Israeli Jewelry 7 Exhibition at the Eretz Israel Museum in Tel Aviv.
