We will experience the leisure culture in the Islamic world, and we will learn about different forms of leisure and play through thinking and memory games, shadow theater, music, a tour of an exhibition, various quizzes and storytellers.

Natural Medicine

We will go one a journey through the ancient world, during which we learn about the development of natural medicine and medicinal plants in the Islamic world. We will look at the medical literature and different implements used to store medicinal plants and a range of types of medicines, and we will take a journey through the world of nature, and the aromas of the plants in the exhibition halls.

Clocks and Measuring Time

How does a clock work? What is time? How did they measure time in the past? An experiential tour of the unique clock collection on display at the museum will reveal the history of time measurement, and will engage in the question of the importance of measuring it, in the past and today.
