Shabbat November 11

11:00 || Experiential family tour of the museum, led by two actors, in the footsteps of the sultan’s lost treasure
12:00 || African Legend – A production by the Al Hayat Theater, Arabic Community Center, Ramla

The story of a lovely African couple – Umo and Amna. Umo, Amna’s husband, is lazy. He is lazy but cute, and can charm anyone. He thinks he can get anything he wants without taking anyone, except himself, into consideration. Everyone in the jungle is mesmerized by his charm, and gives him everything he asks for, But Amna, his wife, is far cleverer. She is the only who does not fall for her husband’s tricks, and she decides to teach him a lesson once and for all.

This is a story with two actresses, five puppets, props, African music and audience participation of the children.

11:00 || Experiential family tour of the museum, led by two actors, in the footsteps of the sultan’s lost treasure
12:00 || Let’s Be Friends – A production by the Al Karma Theater, Beit HaGeffen, Haifa

The tale of a friendless little rabbit. The actors, together with the children in the audience, help the rabbit to find good new friends who save him from the sly wolf and, with him, learn to fly high above the mountains and oceans, and how to gather pollen from flowers, to make honey.

The show includes music, songs and games, and the members of the audience take an active role in it.
